2 Chainz Biography

 Tauheed Epps, better known by his stage name 2 Chainz, is a well-known American hip hop and rapper artist. Georgia born, he began his musical career in hip-hop with Playaz Circle, which he formed along with a high school buddy. Their first album, titled Supply and Demand' was a moderate success. Epps released the album 'Based on the T.R.U. Story', his debut studio album. It debuted at the top of the US Billboard 200, it was a huge success. The album sold 147,000 copies within the first week! After the release of his album, there was no turning back. He became famous as one of America's most prominent rappers. He has been nominated for six Grammy Awards to date. One of them were awarded to his track "No Problem". In 2013, he caused controversy when he was caught with promethazine and marijuana on the flight departing from Los Angeles International Airport. However, his encounters with the law haven’t affected his popularity. The fourth and newest studio album 'Pretty Girls Like Trap Music' released in June 2017. "Based on an R.U. Story, 2 Chainz’s first studio album, can be described as his debut work as well as his most popular. The album was a huge success. It reached the top spot in the US Billboard 200 and sold 147,000 copies in just a week. The album ultimately sold 623,000 copies throughout the course of the year. The album was a hit with songs such as "No Lie, 'Birthday Song, and I'm Different. It was also nominated to win  the 'Best Rap Album' award at the 55th Grammy Awards. Most reviews were positive. 2 Chainz married Kesha Warren in 2013. The couple is proud parents to three kids, Heavenly, Harmony, Halo. He is well-known for his bad habits and his thriving career. He has been arrested many times for drug possession.
