Michelle Lynn Monaghan Bio

 Michelle Lynn Monaghan was born on the 23rd of March of 1976. She is most well-known for her performances in Kiss Bang Bang (2006), Gone Baby Gone (2007, Made of Honor (2008)), Trucker (2008) and Source Code (2011). Her leading role in Mission: Impossible III (2006), Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol (2011) and Mission: Impossible Fallout (2018) has earned her praise. Monaghan was also nominated for the Golden Globe Award as Best Supporting Actress. In the drama series The Path (2016), she played the role as Sarah Lane. Monaghan was the character Eva Geller on the 2020 Netflix thriller series Messiah. The show was cancelled after one season. Monaghan was born in the tiny town (then estimated to be 750 people) of Winthrop, Iowa, the daughter of Sharon Hammel, and Robert Monaghan, a factory worker. Bob and John are her two elder brothers. Monaghan is a Catholic with Irish and German descent and has graduated from East Buchanan High School, 1994. After graduation, she moved to Chicago to pursue a journalism degree at Columbia College Chicago and began to model. She has modelled in Milan and Tokyo, Tokyo, Hong Kong and the United States. In 1999, she had one semester left to finish her journalism degree. She moved to New York to pursue an acting career. Before becoming an actor, she was model and featured in a variety of catalogs and magazines. Monaghan's two first television credits, both as a support character, were for episodes of Young Americans in 2000. Her second appearance on television was in Law & Order: Special Victims Unified , in "Consent", which first aired on the 19th of January 2001. Also, Monaghan made her big screen debut in Perfume the following year, playing Henrietta. Her next film, also in a supporting role in 2002, was Unfaithful in which she starred Richard Gere and Diane Lane.
