Mary-Louise Parker

Mary-Louise Parker was born August 2 on the 2nd of August, 1964. She is an American actress. After her Broadway debut in Craig Lucas’s Prelude to a Kiss, in 1990, Parker was nominated for a Tony Award for the role of Rita. The actress also appeared in Bullets over Broadway (1994), The Client (1991), The Client (1994) and Bullets over Broadway(1994), A Place for Annie (1994), Bullets over Broadway(1994)), Bullets over Broadway (1994), Bullets over Broadway1994), Bullets over Broadway (1994), Bullets over Broadway (1994), A Place for Annie (1995), The Portrait of a Lady (1996) and The Maker (1997). Alongside stage and independent films performances thereafter, Parker received the 2001 Tony Award for Best Actress in the Play for her portrayal of Catherine Llewellyn in David Auburn's Proof along with other awards. She starred as Amy Gardner on NBC's television series The West Wing from 2001 to 2006. In this role, she was nominated in 2002 for the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Supporting Actress in the Drama Series. Her portrayal of Harper Pitt in HBO's acclaimed mini-series Angels in America in 2002 brought her a Primetime Emmy Award as well as an award from the Golden Globe. In 2006, Parker won the Golden Globe Award. In 2006, Parker was nominated to the Primetime Emmy Award. (2013), as well as Red 2 (2013). Parker returned to Broadway to star in The Sound Inside in 2019, for which she won her second Tony Award as Best Actress in a Play. Parker has contributed to Esquire magazine since 2007. The magazine also published Dear Mr. You in 2015. In 2017, she played in the role of Roma Guy on the ABC miniseries on television called When We Rise. In 2018, she appeared as a political adviser on the series Billions on Showtime.
