Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz is an Canadian actor from Canada. Her credits include Andy Jensen, on ABC Family's Kyle XY, and Lacy Rand, who is on Syfy's sluggish science fiction drama series Caprica. Emily Hartwell (born Maya Hartwell), is her science fiction show Continuum. Recently, she appeared as Sandy in the Netflix thriller series You. Apanowicz is Polish and was a resident of Poland for a time during her ninth grade. She was raised there by her uncle. She attended Jelenia Gora school. She then went on to study at Vancouver Film School. When her brother introduced her to the Pulp Fiction, she became interested in acting. She started her acting career in 2002 by appearing in Jeremiah and John Doe. In 2007-2009, she played Andy Jensen in Kyle XY. In 2008, she played the lead role in the Hallmark Channel original movie Every Second Counts.In 2009, Apanowicz was cast as Lacy Rand as a regular in the telenovela Caprica, with Eric Stoltz and Alessandra Torresani. Hellcats was her next appearance. In 2012, she appeared as a guest in Jane Espenson's second season of her romantic comedy web series, Husbands.In 2013, Apanowicz appeared as Emily in the series Continuum In addition, she was in the Eli Roth horror film The Green Inferno as Samantha.
