Sarah Hyland

Sarah Hyland was born in New York City to actors Melissa D. Canaday and Edward James Hyland. At the age of four she entered the business with voice overs and commercials. Private Parts was her first film. The Object of My Affection was her next film. She spent some time in Another World (1964), as Rain Wolfe, a child who was found in the park and fostered by Josie. Sarah was able to continue working alongside Amy Carlson ("Josie") several times: Falcone (2000) and Law & Order (1990) in addition to Law & Order: Trial by Jury (2005). Sarah was a part of Jennifer Love Hewitt's The Audrey Hepburn Story(2000) as one of the younger Audrey Hepburns. The next year, she was cast in ABC's The Wonderful World of Disney: Annie (1999), with Audra McDonald, Victor Garber, Kristin Chernoweth and Joe Gould's Secret ((2000) and Falcone ((2000)). Aside from all of her work in television and film, Sarah studied voice, hip-hop, ballet, jazz, tap, Theatre Dance, and performed in her Theatre and tap dance classes at "Reel to Real" at Lincoln Center as invited performers.A born in New York and raised there, Sarah spent much of her time in television, film, and also voicing numerous radio ads as well as travelling with her father, Edward James Hyland, as he worked in many different theaters across the United States. Her mother took care of her until she was two years older. Then she went to public school. In 6th grade she was admitted to PPAS (Professional Performing Arts School) where she stayed until she graduated in. Sarah is now 18 years old, moved to Los Angeles, CA, in which she was able to land in the air with the name "My American Family". After being accepted and the pilot's name changed to Modern Family (2009). Sarah is currently "Haley Dunphy", an eldest Dunphy children. Modern Family (2009) has won multiple awards most notably the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series.
