Rashida Jones

Rashida Jones was the younger daughter and media producer, mogul, Quincy Jones and actress Peggy Lipton. Kidada Jones is her older sister. She also has five half-siblings derived from the other relationships her father had with his family. Her father is African American and her mother is Ashkenazi Jewish (a descendant emigrants of Russia as well as Latvia). Rashida was raised in Reform Judaism. She was raised in Bel Air, Los Angeles, California. Jones claimed that Jones' mixed race parents did not suit her in the 1970s. Jones made her professional acting debut was in The Last Don (1997), a mini-series that was inspired by Mario Puzo's novel. Rashida has also graduated from Harvard University in 1997. In 1997, she attended the Buckley School, Sherman Oaks, California. Voted the Most Likely to be Successful. Arabic (O+O'UO O(c)) is her nickname. It is the word for "Major" adult, grown-up and wise. Kidada and Rashida were recorded by Quincy Jones III, the brother of Quincy Jones III. Quincy Jones III was also present during the introduction and recited the lines from Shakur’s poem "Starry Night." The title of the song is a reference to the poem. Rashida's father is African American, but also has smaller quantities of English, Scottish, and Welsh as well as Welsh ancestry (some of his African relatives were of the Tikar people from Cameroon). Rashida's mother, Ashkenazi Jewish (of Russian Jewish heritage and Latvian Jewish heritage), is Rashida. Her paternal grandparents, both of South Carolina, and Mississippi, were the paternal grandparents of her father. Her maternal grandfather was from New York and her maternal grandmother, who is of Eastern European Jewish descent, was born in Dublin, Ireland. In the year 2009, she was playing three distinct characters, including "Karen" in the sitcoms of the past: Freaks and Geeks (1999), Stella ((2005) and The Office ((2005)).
